Dreamsea Surf Camp

Dreamsea provides a truly unique opportunity to travelers who are looking to utilize their valuable skill sets in exchange for accommodations. Since opening Dreamsea, we have hosted thousands of volunteers. We offer two different Volunteer options that allow you to become a member of the Dreamsea team, in exchange for helping us maintain the overall atmosphere and operational excellence at Dreamsea!

$118.00 USD/Per Week (VAT Taxes Not Included)
(Minimum of three-week commitment required)

Volunteers contribute around 15 hours per week in assigned tasks and responsibilities. We require a minimum stay because we prefer our volunteers to become an integral part of the Dreamsea family and the overall atmosphere of the camp. Your initial payment goes directly towards your meals for the duration of your stay.

Over the past eight years, the Dreamsea Costa Rica volunteer program has presented an opportunity for thousands of travelers to be a part of an international community that largely focuses on human connectivity. The purpose, while rooted in that human connection, is layered with an emphasis on self-sustainability, an eco-conscious approach, embracing cultural exchange, exploration, adventure, and an active lifestyle.

Dreamsea is always looking for qualified volunteers to join the team! If you are an experienced Surf Instructor, certified Yoga Teacher, professional Photographer + Videographer, Social Media manager, or Artist/Painter, just reach out to us through the application form below, let us know your level of experience in any of those fields, and we will contact you with details about joining our Qualified Volunteer team!

There are a multitude of daily tasks and responsibilities that are to be carried out by our volunteers. These responsibilities are not just vital to the camp’s overall atmosphere and progress, they are simply the heart and soul of it. While a volunteer’s responsibilities will include some general tasks such as maintaining cleanliness throughout the camp, helping in the kitchen, gardening, and making sure our events and trips go as planned, it’s the additional contributions that a volunteer takes initiative on, that helps Dreamsea be the best it can be!
